MODERN SLAVERY ACT

Although Osborne Consulting Solutions is not required to report under the terms of Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, we take our responsibilities very seriously in ensuring that our customers will want to be assured that their supply chains are not founded on illegal or unethical practices. In particular we recognise that the clothing industry is one where accusations of modern slavery ("sweatshops") have arisen. To give our customers confidence in the supply chains we represent, we undertake the following actions:

1. We will not tolerate any suspicion of modern slavery in any of the companies we choose to represent. If we are not sure about them, we will not represent them or offer their products.

2. We will undertake, wherever possible, to visit our clients at their place of manufacture to see for ourselves that the working conditions are to acceptable standards. This includes complying with SA8000 - Social Accountability standards - which ensure that workers rights are protected. If we cannot visit the workplace ourselves, we will have ensured it has been visited by one of our nominated representatives.

3. Where possible, we will offer SA8000 compliance statements from manufacturers in the supply chains we represent to ensure our customers have confidence that they will not be exposed to accusations of profiting from modern slavery or immoral practices, or encouraging them in any way.
