Osborne Consulting Solutions was founded on over 30 years experience of service in the Army and MOD. Of that, 10 years was in procurement, including direct operational experience delivering new capabilities.

MATTHEW TRESIDDER
DIRECTOR
Matthew founded Osborne Consulting in 2015 after 30 years service in the British Army. His last 5 years were spent managing the Defence Clothing Team. At the time, the UK Armed Forces were heavily engaged in operations in Afghanistan and Iraq and there was a constant need to update clothing and equipment to meet evolving threats and new tactics and procedures.
This led to a rapid programme of innovations and developments that saw the British Armed Forces becoming among the best equipped on operations at the time. This change included the introduction of Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP) camouflage uniform, blast protective underwear and market leading footwear along with improved body armour, helmets and load carriage, significantly improving the burden on the soldier.
Matthew has continued the thrust of this work with Osborne Consultancy to ensure that today's service men and women continue to be provided with some of the best clothing and equipment available.
JILL EVANS
SENIOR ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT
Jill has over 30 years experience with the Ministry of Defence. Her last 10 years were with the Defence Clothing Team and as the Head of the Team she led the organisation's transition from the MOD to the private sector as part of Team Leidos.
As Head of the Team, Jill oversaw an annual budget of £60million and an inventory of over 10,000 different items. She was also responsible for the introduction into service of new items, by interpreting the MOD'S requirement and engaging with suitable suppliers.
Jill is delighted to continue working in this sector as she believes that it is vital that uniformed personnel are supplied with the best clothing and equipment while ensuring a viable supply chain.
